I had great intentions of doing the Kiwi Fruit Hair picture. But life has happened and my Kiwi’s sat in my fridge for too long and now are a bit squish and dark green. Then I also took a self portrait of my self haircut. But that photoshoot was too creative for my brain to handle so I had to let go of the photography and focus on not butchering my hair! So I snapped a quick picture of these Jelly Beans I am using to teach my JOYrific Chart. I know they do not have hair but the faces on the beans make their heads so cute and bald! Jamie, somehow I missed this post! I LOVE THE COLORS and the concept of no hair for hair!! Great!!! I like the shallow DOF on this so you have the blurred background, but I wish all of the jelly beans were sharper. Did you hand hold this at 1/30 with 180 focal length, cause if you so you have the steadiest hand I’ve ever seen. I’d say increase your shutter speed to at least 180 and if it’s too dark, increase your ISO, you can go pretty high with the 7D. Love the kiwi fruit hair idea too! and you cutting your hair, can’t believe you do that yourself!
